Festival Lecture / Talk Suitable for Families Arts and EntertainmentTours at 5pm and 6pm with a choice of an indoor exhibition tour and an outdoor monastic garden tour. Indoors, learn about Clondalkin’s early 7th century monastic site, the later Viking period when Clondalkin was a stronghold of the Norse Kings of Dublin and about the variety of mills near the site from the late 18th and early 19th century. Outdoors, enjoy some of the edible, herbal and medicinal flowers, crops and plants common to monasteries in early medieval Ireland.
