Heritage in Schools - Wild Child Event
Parents and children - come and spend some time in the woods and enjoy some Forest School nature activities through Irish. Connect with Ireland’s amazing woodland ecology, its heritage, beauty and our native language.
Duration of event: Session 1 between 10am - 12pm & Session 2 between 2pm - 4pm. Suitable for ages: 6-10 year-olds. Children need to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session.
Limited spaces per session and booking is essential, please book by emailing aine@greenguide.ie or phone 087 1626760.
Participants are asked to arrive ten minutes before the start time and meet in the car-park.
Children should wear appropriate clothing and footwear e.g. strong outdoor boots, thick trousers and bring waterproof clothing, if needed.
This Wild Child event is funded by the Heritage Council through the Heritage in Schools Programme.
