Seachtain na Gaeilge with Energia Launch

Ar 1 Márta ag 6in, beidh Seachtain na Gaeilge á seoladh ag grúpaí Gaeilge Chathair na Gaillimhe. Beidh aoichainteoirí agus ceoltóirí ann ar an oíche, agus seolfar eagrán speisialta d’Irisleabhar Áras na nGael le clár na n-imeachtaí Sheachtain na Gaeilge.

Tá grúpaí Gaeilge Chathair na Gaillimhe ag teacht le chéile in Áras na nGael, croí an chultúir, leis an bhféile Ghaeilge is mó in Éirinn agus ar fud an domhain a sheoladh. Bíonn obair mhór ar siúl ag na grúpaí bliain i ndiaidh bliana, ach i mbliana theastaigh uainn teacht le chéile agus ár nasc lena chéile a neartú, go mbeadh a fhios ag pobal na cathrach go bhfuil líonra grúpaí ag obair as lámh a chéile chun an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn sa chathair.

Tá sé mar fhís ag Plean Teanga Chathair na Gaillimhe “go dtacófar leis na grúpaí [Gaeilge] go léir níos mó Gaeilge a labhairt ionas go gcuirfear le húsáid shóisialta na Gaeilge sa chathair.” Tugann Seachtain na Gaeilge deis dúinn comhoibriú I dtreo na físe sin.
