Ábhar dóchais tacaíocht an phobail do phlean teanga Chonamara Láir – Oifigeach Pleanála Teanga

Deiseanna do phobal an cheantair lena gcuid Gaeilge a úsáid agus tacaíocht a chur ar fáil do theaghlaigh atá ag tógáil a gclann le Gaeilge an cur chuige a bheas ag oifigeach pleanála teanga Chonamara Láir Briocán Bairéad le Plean Teanga an Cheantair a chur i bhfeidhm.

Ag labhairt dó le Tuairisc.ie, dúirt sé gur “ábhar mór dóchais” é go bhfuil an oiread sin tacaíochta i measc an phobail don phlean teanga, a seoladh go hoifigiúil ag an deireadh seachtaine.

Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta Seán Kyne TD a sheol an plean i gColáiste Cuimhneacháin an Phiarsaigh i Ros Muc, ócáid ar ar fhreastail slua mór de mhuintir na háite.

Tá Camas, Ros Muc, Cill Chiaráin, Carna, An Caiseal, an Sraith Salach, Inis Ní agus Iorras Beag Thiar i limistéar pleanála teanga Chonamara Láir.

Tugadh an cúram don chomharchumann pobail, Forbairt Chonamara Láir Teo, feidhmiú mar cheanneagraíocht an phróisis pleanála teanga sa limistéar agus bunaíodh Coiste Stiúrtha Pleanála Teanga leis an bplean a réiteach.

Dúirt an tAire Stáit Kyne agus an plean á sheoladh aige go raibh  “an-obair déanta” agus an plean “cuimsitheach” a chur le chéile.

Tá 16 plean teanga ceadaithe go dtí seo, Conamara Láir san áireamh agus pleananna á n-ullmhú do na deich gceantar eile.

Deichniúr Oifigeach Pleanála Teanga agus 3 Oifigeach Cúnta Pleanála Teanga atá fostaithe go dtí seo, rud a chiallaíonn go bhfuil sé cheantar a bhfuil pleananna ceadaithe dóibh ach nach bhfuil tús curtha lena bhfeidhmiú go fóill.
