Turas treoraithe Gaeilge ar Bhéal Feirste

| Dáithí Anraí | ,

D’eagraigh Conradh na Gaeilge turas treoraithe Gaeilge thart ar Bhéal Feirste ar na mallaibh a léirigh stair na cathrach ó thaobh an chultúir agus an teanga de.

Chuaigh bus an turais ó Chultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich ar Bóthar na bhFál anonn go Skainos, ionad in oirthear na cathrach, agus ansin ar ais go dtí an tIarthar agus Bóthar Seoighe. Thug Conchúr Mac Siacais ó Forbairt Feirste achoimre iontach ar na suíomhanna ar leith a bhí le feiceáil.

D’fhoglaim na cuairteoirí faoi na ceannródaithe a ghlac páirt i bhforbairt na teanga in imeacht na mblianta agus na háiteanna áirithe ar fud na cathrach ar cuireadh tús leis na pleananna sin.

Chuaigh Meon Eile ar an turas leo agus bhí am ar dóigh againn ag foghlaim agus ag taisteal thart ar an chathair. Labhair muid le Conchúr féin agus le hAlswyn Ní Aonghusa Ní Dhúill, ó Chill Dara, a bhí ar cuairt sa chathair.

Tá Conchúr agus Conradh na Gaeilge ag iarraidh níos mó imeachtaí ar nós an turais threoraithe seo a chur ar fáil – coinnigh súil amach dóibh!
