Beirt Teachtaí Dála ina n-iarrthóirí do cheann comhairleacht an 33ú Dáil

| Tuairisc.ie |

Níl ach beirt Teachtaí Dála istigh ar phost an Cheann Comhairle sa Dáil nua, Seán Ó Fearghaíl, Fianna Fáil, agus an neamhspleách, Denis Naughten.

Toghfar Ceann Comhairle, nó ceannaire na Dála, amárach ag an gcéad chruinniú den 33ú Dáil.

Tá Ceann Comhairle an 32ú Dáil, Seán Ó Fearghaíl, Teachta Dála de chuid Fhianna Fáil, ar dhuine den bheirt atá á gcur féin chun cinn don chúram agus tá an Teachta Dála neamhspleách agus iar-aire cumarsáide Denis Naughten istigh air chomh maith.

Dá dtoghfaí Ó Fearghaíl, Gaeilgeoir líofa,  bheadh an líon céanna vótaí sa Dáil ag Fianna Fáil agus Sinn Féin, 37.

6pm tráthnóna an spriocam a bhí ann d’iarratais.

Tabharfar cead cainte cúig nóiméad an duine don bheirt iarrthóirí amárach agus reáchtálfar ballóid rúnda i ndiaidh na bpíosaí cainte.

I bhforhalla Theach Laighean a bheidh an vótáil ar siúl agus beidh botháin vótála speisialta socraithe ansin chun an rúndacht a chosaint.

Ionadaíocht chionmhar a úsáidfear agus vóta amháin inaistrithe ag gach Teachta Dála agus a rogha á déanamh acu.

Cléireach na Dála  agus a chúntóirí a chomhairfidh na vótaí agus fógróidh sé an Ceann Comhairle nua ach a mbeidh cuóta ag iarrthóir éigin. Tabharfaidh an Dáil faoina cuid oibre ansin arís.

An chéad chúram a bheidh ar an gCeann Comhairle nuathofa ainmniúcháin a lorg do phost an Taoisigh.

Ní dócha go mbeidh dóthain vótaí ag aon duine don chúram sin.

Íoctar liúntais agus costais anuas ar thuarastal  €175,699 leis an gCeann Comhairle.
