Seán Kyne ceaptha ina Sheanadóir ag an Taoiseach

| Tuairisc.ie |

Tá Seán Kyne, Príomh-Aoire an Rialtais agus Aire Stáit na Gaeltachta ceaptha ina Sheanadóir ag an Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.

Chaill Seán Kyne a shuíochán Dála san olltoghchán i nGaillimh Thiar agus tá sé ceaptha chun an tSeanaid in áit Frank Feighan a toghadh chun na Dála.

Tarraingeoidh ceapachán Kyne caint mar nach bhfuil fágtha ag an Seanad seo ach roinnt laethanta.

Tabharfaidh ceapachán Kyne vóta breise d’Fhine Gael i dtoghchán an tSeanaid.

Cuireadh aire stáit na Gaeltachta as an áireamh ar an 13ú comhaireamh i nGaillimh Thiar nuair a toghadh a chomhghleacaí Hildegarde Naughton.

Dúirt an Taoiseach tráthnóna gur ionadaí poiblí den scoth é Seán Kyne a raibh “obair na gcapall” déanta aige do phobal a dháilcheantair.

“Ní raibh aon leisce ar Sheán Kyne seasamh a thógáil bunaithe ar a chuid prionsabal agus rinne sé a chúram mar Phríomh-Aoire sa Dáil dheireanach go stuama cumasach. Leanfaidh Seán lena chuid oibre mar Aire Gaeltachta,” arsa an Taoiseach tráthnóna.

Tuairiscítear go bhfuil sé i gceist ag Seán Kyne seasamh i dtoghchán an tSeanaid.
