Físeán speisialta curtha amach chun Plean Teanga Mhaigh Cuilinn a sheoladh

Tá Plean Teanga Mhaigh Cuilinn le seoladh amárach le cabhair físeán speisialta a rinneadh don ócáid.

Fágann na srianta Covid-19 gurb é seo an chéad Plean Teanga a sheolfar ar líne ach tá sé beartaithe leas a bhaint as an teicneolaíocht chun clár imeachtaí Gaeilge a chur i láthair.

Is í Andrea Tighe atá ceaptha ina hOifigeach Pleanála Teanga do Mhaigh Cuilinn chun an plean teanga a réiteach agus a chur i bhfeidhm.

Tá sé i gceist ag an bplean “stádas na Gaeilge agus na Gaeltachta” i Maigh Cuilinn a chosaint agus oidhreacht Ghaeltachta an cheantair a chaomhnú agus a chur chun cinn.

“Tá Gaeilge á labhairt i Maigh Cuilinn leis na mílte bliain, slabhra leanúnach gan bhriseadh a nascann an pobal leis na chéad daoine a chónaigh sa dúiche agus tá sé i gceist an slabhra seo a fhorbairt, a neartú agus a chosaint do na glúine amach romhainn,” a deir Tighe.

Tá sé i gceist go gcuirfear le líon na réimsí seirbhísí atá ar fáil as Gaeilge sa cheantar agus go dtabharfar tacaíocht do na comhlachtaí, na grúpaí agus na gnóthaí áitiúla chun cur le húsáid na Gaeilge.

“Is linne ar fad an teanga. Is cuid álainn de shaol na tíre an teanga. Tá ról agus rogha againn go léir í a úsáid agus í a chosaint,” a dúirt Andrea Tighe.
