An craoltóir Gaeltachta Cormac Ó hEadhra ceaptha ina láithreoir ar Drivetime RTÉ

Tá an craoltóir aitheanta Gaeltachta Cormac Ó hEadhra ceaptha ina chomhláithreoir ar Drivetime ar RTÉ Raidió 1, ceann de phríomhchláracha cúrsaí reatha na hÉireann.

Buille mór do RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta é ceapachán an chraoltóra as an gCeathrú Rua i gConamara.

Bhí caint ann le tamall go dtógfadh clár le Seán O’Rourke áit an chláir Saturday with Cormac Ó hEadhra, ach ní bheidh O’Rourke le cloisteáil níos mó ar RTÉ de bharr na conspóide faoi dhinnéar Chumann Gailf an Oireachtais sa Chlochán.

Bhí sé á thuar i mbólaí áirithe go mbeadh Ó hEadhra thíos le filleadh Seán O’Rourke ar RTÉ, ach mar a tuairiscíodh anseo cheana, bhí fear na Ceathrún Rua lárnach i gcónaí i bplean lucht bainistíochta RTÉ mar a bhfuil ag méadú ar a cháil agus a stádas le tamall de bhlianta anuas.

Bhíodh Nuacht a hAon á chur i láthair ag Ó hEadhra ar RnaG agus bhí sé ar dhuine de na láithreoirí ab aitheanta agus ba chumasaí ag an stáisiún Gaeilge.

Tharraing a chur chuige díocasach géarchúiseach aird ar an stáisiún Gaeltachta, go háirithe nuair a bhíodh an clár Cormac ag a Cúig á chur i láthair aige.

Fágfaidh a imeacht poll mór i sceideal RTÉ RnaG agus is cinnte gur boichte a bheidh saol chraoltóireacht na Gaeilge dá uireasa.

Cuirfidh Ó hEadhra agus Sara McInerny Drivetime i láthair gach tráthnóna ag 4.30pm.
