Fíneáil €100 do mhuintir na Sé Chontae a thrasnaíonn an teorainn gan chúis mhaith

| 1 |

Ó thús na míosa seo tá fíneáil €100 á gearradh ar dhuine ar bith ón tuaisceart a thrasnaíonn an teorainn gan chúis mhaith. Ábhar conspoíde a bhí ann ón tús go raibh rialacha difriúla COVID i bhfeidhm ar oileán na hÉireann. Níl cead ag muintir an deiscirt taisteal níos mó na 5km ar shiúl ón teach agus is mar gheall air seo a tugadh an pionós nua isteach do mhuintir an tuaiscirt.

Tá ceangal láidir ag muintir Dhoire agus Thír Eoghain le Dún na nGall  agus is minic a bhíonn daoine ag obair agus ag taisteal idir na Sé Chontae agus na 26 Chontae.

Is comhairleoir de chuid an SDLP i gcathair Dhoire í Mary Durkan a bheadh ag taisteal go Dún na nGall go minic ar bhonn soisialta. Is as an tSráth Bán do Sheán Mór Ó Daimhín ach oibríonn sé trasna na teorann. Labhair siad beirt le Meon Eile faoin fhíneáil nua seo agus faoin bhuaireamh atá orthu beirt mar gheall air.
