dochas-ann-nach-gcuirfidh-uineiri-ti-moill-ar-fhoirgneamh-do-ghaelscoil-nua

Dóchas ann nach gcuirfidh úinéirí tí moill ar fhoirgneamh do Ghaelscoil nua

Tá dóchas ann nach gcuirfidh aighneas faoi chúrsaí pleanála isteach ar fhorbairt atá beartaithe chun foirgneamh a thógáil do Ghaelscoil nua i mBaile Átha Cliath.

Tá cead pleanála faighte ag an Roinn Oideachais chun foirgneamh a thógáil do Ghaelscoil Lir i dTeach Sagard in iardheisceart Bhaile Átha Cliath.

Tá an Ghaelscoil le hoscailt an fómhar seo agus beidh sí lonnaithe go sealadach ar dtús i bhfoirgneamh eile ach tá sé i gceist an scoil a bhogadh isteach i bhfoirgneamh nua ar Bhóthar Bhaile Uí Fhoirtcheirn nuair a bheidh sé tógtha.

Tá foirgneamh le haghaidh 400 dalta bunscoile agus foirgneamh do 1,000 dalta iarbhunscoile a bheidh ag freastal ar Choláiste Pobail na Fóla, le tógáil ar an suíomh céanna.

Tá daoine a bhfuil cónaí orthu sa cheantar ag cur i gcoinne na bpleananna, áfach.

Deir úinéirí an tí atá gar don suíomh gur le comhlacht bainistíochta, Burnella Cottage Ltd, cuid den talamh ar a bhfuil na scoileanna nua le tógáil. Deirtear ina n-agóid nach raibh cead ag Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Átha Cliath agus Dhún Laoghaire cead pleanála a lorg ar an talamh sin agus tá tús curtha ag an gcomhlacht bainistíochta le cás cúirte.

Tithe ar íocadh suas le €1.6m ar chuid acu atá suite le taobh an tsuímh atá roghnaithe do na scoileanna. Tá na tithe suite in aice le galfchúrsa Citywest, a dúnadh in 2010.

Deir an Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna go bhfuil an cead pleanála a tugadh anuraidh bailí agus deir Príomhoide Ghaelscoil Lir, Sinéad Bheilbigh, nach bhfuil an cás cúirte ag déanamh aon imní dóibh sa scoil.

“Níl imní orm agus tá muid ag súil go mór le fáilte a chur roimh an bpobal go luath,” a dúirt Bheilbhigh le Tuairisc.ie

“Tá muid ag súil go mór leis an scoil a oscailt mí Mheán Fómhair agus ag tnúth le fáilte a chur roimh an bpobal isteach sa bhfoirgneamh nua nuair a bheidh sé tógtha.”

Dúirt Bheilbhigh go bhfuil an-fháilte curtha roimh an scoil ag an bpobal áitiúil. Rang amháín a bheidh sa scoil ar oscailt di i mbliana agus súil ann go mbeifear ag cur leis na ranganna gach aon bhliain as sin ar aghaidh.
