Scéim nua tacaíochta do thuismitheoirí seolta i Ráth Chairn

Tá scéim nua tacaíochta do thuismitheoirí seolta ag Aire na Gaeltachta Jack Chambers.

Sheol an tAire Stáit Jack Chambers an scéim nua ‘Cara Teanga Tí’ atá á reáchtáil ag Glór na nGael agus é ar cuairt ar Ghaeltacht Ráth Chairn i gcontae na Mí inniu.

Ag labhairt dó ag an ócáid seolta, dúirt an tAire Stáit Jack Chambers go rachadh an scéim chun leasa tuismitheoirí atá ag tógáil a gcuid páistí le Gaeilge.

“Deir na saineolaithe pleanála teanga go léir linn nach mór dúinn a chinntiú go labhraíonn muid an Ghaeilge ar an tinteán, ag baile.

“Is coincheap iontach é an scéim – Cara Teanga Tí, mar a mbeidh deis ag tuismitheoirí atá ag tógáil a bpáistí le Gaeilge, nó tuismitheoirí atá ag smaoineamh ar a bpáistí a thógáil le Gaeilge, labhairt le chéile, ceisteanna teanga a phlé agus ceisteanna tógáil clainne a phlé trí Ghaeilge,” a dúirt sé.

Is féidir le tuismitheoirí ar mhaith leo a bheith páirteach sa scéim Cara Teanga Tí, nó a mbeadh spéis acu tacaíocht a thabhairt do thuismitheoirí eile, teagmháil a dhéanamh le Glór na nGael chun clárú leis an scéim. Deirtear go mbeidh fáilte roimh thuismitheoirí atá ag tógáil páistí le Gaeilge a bhfuil riachtanais faoi leith acu.

Seoladh leabhrán nua dar teideal Bunú agus Feidhmiú Grúpaí Súgartha, mar chuid den ócáid inniu.

Tá eolas ar fáil sa leabhrán nua maidir leis an mbealach is fearr grúpa súgartha Gaeilge a bhunú agus a riaradh chomh maith le rannta, scéalta agus amhráin do leanaí óga.

Agus an leabhar nua á sheoladh, dúirt Marcas Mac Ruairí, Bainisteoir Teanga Tí Ghlór na nGael go raibh tábhacht “nach beag” le grúpaí súgartha do leanaí óga i nGaeilge.

“Tugann siad deis do na leanaí, ag an aois forbartha is tábhachtaí, scileanna sóisialta a fhorbairt le leanaí eile comhaois leo,” a dúirt sé.

Mar chuid den ócáid, fógraíodh go mbeidh Nóra Welby, atá ag obair le Glór na nGael le breis agus dhá scór bliain ag imeacht ar scor.
