Príomhfheidhmeannach nua á lorg ag Údarás na Gaeltachta

Tá Príomhfheidhmeannach nua á lorg ag Údarás na Gaeltachta agus Mícheál Ó hÉanaigh ag éirí as.

In 2017 a ceapadh Ó hÉanaigh, as an Lochán Beag i gCois Fharraige, ina Phríomhfheidhmeannach ar an eagraíocht fiontraíochta agus pleanála teanga, ceann de na poist is sinsearaí i saol na teanga.

Le linn ré Uí Éanaigh, tháinig borradh arís faoi líon na bpost a dtacaíonn an tÚdarás leo sa Ghaeltacht.

Is conradh cúig bliana ar théarma seasta atá i gceist leis an bpost agus tuarastal €145,000 sa bhliain atá luaite leis.

Deirtear go mbeidh an té a cheapfar freagrach as an “eagraíocht a threorú ó thaobh a misin eacnamaíochta, chultúir agus shóisialta a chur i gcrích”.

Deirtear gur gá don té a cheapfar taithí mhór a bheith aige nó aici ag leibhéal sinsearach bainistíochta agus gur ghá go mbeadh “fís”, scileanna  “ceannaireachta” agus “an cumas smaoineamh go nuálach léirithe aige nó aici”.

Níor mhór “eolas domhain” a bheith aige nó aici ar fheidhmiú polasaí náisiúnta, ar fhorbairt eacnamaíochta, ar fhorbairt pobail agus ar chur chun cinn na teanga, a deirtear.

Teastaíonn “ardleibhéal inniúlachta” aige nó aici i labhairt agus i scríobh na Gaeilge, ag leibhéal TEG C1 nó a chomhionann.
