Spotsolas ar na Nuatheachtaithe: Muireann Ní Shé

| NÓS Suíomh Gréasáin | ,

Beidh Gradaim NÓS 2024 ar siúl i mBéal Feirste an 9 Feabhra. I mbliana bronnfar an gradam do ‘Nuatheachtaí na Bliana’ in ómós do Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí, an laoch craoltóireachta agus pobail a d’imigh uainn anuraidh. Idir seo agus an ócáid bhronnta díreofar aird ar na ceoltóirí atá ainmnithe i rannóg na nuatheachtaithe.

Ainm: Muireann Ní Shé

Seánra ceoil: Ceol traidisiúnta comhaimseartha

Scéal: Píobaire uilleann, il-ionstraimí agus amhránaí as Contae Chorcaí is ea Muireann atá fréamhaithe sa chultúr Gaelach ó bhí sí óg. In 2023 d’eisigh sí a céad albam, Éistigh Liomsa Sealad, ar a bhfuil fuaimdhream ar leith cruthaithe aici ina dtagann an ceol traidisiúnta, an sean-nós agus gnéithe comhaimseartha le chéile go gleoite. I measc na gceoltóirí eile atá le cloisteáil ar an albam tá Aoife Blake, Macdara Ó Faoláin, Johnny McCarthy agus Jake Kalilec.

Spreagadh: “Rud mór a spreagann chun ceoil mé ná scéalta na ngnáthdaoine a d’imigh romhainn a insint agus a bhfoinn a choimeád beo. Mar sin, tá ana-shuim agam sna sean-amhráin agus poirt a bailíodh im’ cheantar féin. Spreagann na fréamhacha seo mé chun mo cheol féin a scríobh agus a chóiriú. Thar aon rud eile, tugann an fuinneamh a chruthaítear idir ceoltóirí ag seinnt le chéile neart dom.”

Pleananna do 2024: Tá sé i gceist ag Muireann filleadh ar níos mó cumadaóireachta agus cóirithe i mbliaina i ndiaidh tréimhse ghnóthach ag taifeadadh agus ag taisteal anuraidh. Beidh sí ag cur lena stór amhrán traidisiúnta chomh maith.
