Ón 7 go dtí an 9 Meitheamh 2024 beidh siúlóid agus oilithreacht 3lá i nGaeilge ar Shlí Cholmcille i nDún na nGall. Téann Slí Cholmcille ó Ghleann Cholm Cille in Éirinn go hOileán Í in Albain, agus nascann sé láithreacha a bhaineann le beatha agus le traidisiún an naoimh.

Tá súil go mbeidh an tSlí mar mhacasamhail an Camino de Santiago sa Spáinn. Beidh deis eolas a chur ar an dúlra, slí don cholainn, agus slí don spiorad agus comhluadar i nGaeilge i gcroílár Ghaeltacht Dhún na nGall.

Ó 2020, bhí oilithreacht gach samhradh ar Shlí Cholmcille, agus is í seo an dara siúlóid agus oilithreacht atá go hiomlán i nGaeilge. Tá sí á heagrú ag comharchumainn Ghaeltachta agus ceantair pleanála teanga i nDún na nGall i gcomhar le clár Cholmcille d’Fhoras na Gaeilge. Beidh Séamus Ó Dúchoin, treoraí sléibhe agus cainteoir dúchais ag treorú na siúlóide.
