Eispéireas Gaeltachta Moontour

| Dáithí Anraí |

Cúig bliana ó shin, chuir Seán Greif tús le cúrsa nua Gaeltachta i gcuan Dhún Laoghaire. Cúrsa ar léith a bhí ann: in ionad ranganna scoile, bhí gníomhaíochtaí amuigh ar an fharraige.

Tamall roimhe sin agus Seán ag taisteal ar fud na hAmasóine, bhí air Portaingéilis a úsáid agus é i mbun eachtraíochta. Thug sé deara go raibh a chuid Portaingéilise ag feabhsú dá bharr, mar sin nuair a d’fhill sé ar Éirinn bheartaigh sé tabhairt faoi chúrsaí Gaeilge a thosú a bhaineann úsáid as spóirt uisce agus cluichí ríomhaire chun úsáid na teanga a spreagadh.

Canúáille, cadhcáil, ióga, agus cluichí réaltachta fíorúla – sin cuid de na himeachtaí spraíúla a bhíonn ar siúl ag na daltaí agus tá an-éileamh ar na cúrsaí ag dul i méid dá réir.

Chuaigh Meon Eile go Baile Átha Cliath le cuairt a thabhairt ar Moontour, áit ar bhuail muid leis an fhoireann agus leis na daltaí. Bhí meangadh mór gáire ar aghaidh na bpáistí uilig agus iad ar bís amuigh ar an uisce. Labhair muid le Seán agus roinnt de na daltaí faoin chúrsa agus faoi na gníomhaíochtaí a dheánann siad ann.

Más rud é go bhfuil tú ag iarraidh freastal ar na cúrsaí an bhliain seo chugainn, nó le tuilleadh eolas a fháil faoi Moontour, téigh anseo.
