Aitheantas speisialta do chur cinn na Gaeilge i gclubanna CLG

D’fhógair Príomh-Aoire an Rialtais agus an tAire Stáit don Ghaeilge, don Ghaeltacht agus do na hOileáin le déanaí go bhfuil deontas €683,677 ceadaithe aige do Ghlór na nGael don tréimhse 2019-2022 chun Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha agus an scéim Teanga Tí a fhorbairt.

Is scéim tacaíochta de chuid Ghlór na nGael agus de chuid Chumann Lúthchleas Gael í Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha do chlubanna CLG a chuireann an Ghaeilge chun cinn. Cuireann an fhondúireacht deontais ar fáil do chumainn chláraithe a n-éiríonn leo méid áirithe gníomhaíochtaí a chur i gcrích. D’fhéadfaí bonn Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha a bhronnadh ar chlubanna chomh maith as líon áirithe den 70 gníomh atá leagtha síos a bhaint amach i dtaobh na teanga. Is comhartha aitheantais é seo ar an dea-obair a dhéanann na clubanna.

Ag fógairt an mhaoinithe dúirt an tAire Stáit:

“Is ábhar bróid dom é go bhfuil ar chumas mo Roinne an maoiniú seo a chur ar fáil chun tacú leis an dá scéim fhiúntacha seo. Tá obair cheannródaíoch ar bun ag Cumann Lúthchleas Gael ar mhaithe leis an teanga, agus tá súil agam go mbeidh níos mó clubanna ag tabhairt faoi aitheantas a bhaint amach faoi Fhondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha
sna blianta amach romhainn.”

Bhuail muid le Jamie Ó Tuama, Oifigeach Forbartha Gaeilge CLG, i bPáirc an Chrócaigh, leis an tábhacht a bhaineann le Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha a phlé…
