Diane Ní Chanainn ceaptha mar Ambasadóir na Gaeilge do cheantar Chloich Cheann Fhaola

| 1 | ,

Ceapadh an t-amhránaí Diane Ní Chanainn ina hambasadóir teanga i gCloch Cheann Fhaola ar na mallaibh don tréimhse 2020-2021. Labhair Diane le Meon Eile faoi na spriocanna atá aici leis an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn agus a chaomhnú sa cheantar.

Dar ndóigh tá ról an-tábhachtach ag an dream óg leis an teanga a chothú don am amach romhainn agus beidh Hamish Learmont, dalta i Scoil Náisiúnta Ghort a’ Choirce, ina Ambasadóir Óg na Gaeilge sa cheantar, an chéad duine a ceapadh sa ról riamh.

Le linn na dianghlasála druideadh na Coláistí Samhraidh fud fad na tíre agus bhí na ceantair Ghaeltachta ag streacailt de bharr easpa turasóireachta. Ina ainneoin sin, mhínigh Diane gur tháinig lear mór den aos óg chun a’ bhaile agus chuidigh seo go mór leis an cheantar a choinneáil beo.

Agus srianta dianghlasála nua os ár gcomhair anois, níl aon dabht ach go mbeidh sé deacair imeachtaí a reáchtáil sa cheantar agus is cosúil go mbeidh ar phobal Chloich Cheann Fhaola bailiú lena chéile ar na hardáin dhigiteacha den chuid is mó. Tá an-chleachtadh ag Diane ar a leithéid áfach agus níl aon duine níos fearr ná í chun ról an ambasadóra a bheith aici i mbliana.
