3,161-cas-nua-den-vireas-fogartha,-beagnach-500-othar-sna-hospideil

3,161 cás nua den víreas fógartha, beagnach 500 othar sna hospidéil

| Tuairisc.ie | , ,

3,161 cás eile den Covid-19 a d’fhógair an Roinn Sláinte tráthnóna.

498 othar atá buailte ag an ngalar atá sna hospidéil, scór níos mó ná mar a bhí i gceist inné. Tá 78 díobhsan in aonad dianchúraim, triúr níos mó ná mar a bhí i gceist inné.

Dúirt Príomhoifigeach Leighis na Roinne Sláinte, an Dr Tony Holohan, go raibh “comharthaí” cheana féin ann go raibh ag éirí le dáileadh na dteanndáileog den vacsaín.

Tosaíodh le déanaí ar an tríú dáileog a dháileadh ar oibrithe sláinte agus daoine os cionn 60.

“Tá comharthaí luatha ann a thabharfadh misneach duit sa laghdú atá ag teacht ar líon na ndaoine sna grúpaí a bhfuil an teanndáileog faighte acu atá ag tolgadh an ghalair.

“Níl aon áibhéil á dhéanamh faoin tábhacht a bhaineann le do theanndáileog a fháil. Más é seo an t-am do do theanndáileog, bí cinnte í a fháil.”

Mhol an Dr Tony Holohan, chomh maith do gach duine, idir óg agus aosta, an t-instealladh in aghaidh an fhliú a fháil.

Dúirt an Dr. Holohan go raibh a dhá oiread níos mó seans ann go dtolgfadh gasúr an fliú i comparáid le daoine fásta agus gur mó seans a bhí ann go bhféadfadh cúrsaí dul in aimhréidh i gcás gasúir a mbeadh an fliú orthu.

D’fhógair Roinn Sláinte an Tuaiscirt inniu go raibh 11 duine eile a raibh an Covid-19 orthu tar éis bháis. 1,028 cás nua a fógraíodh.

378 othar Covid-19 atá in ospidéil an Tuaiscirt agus 44 díobhsan atá in aonad dianchúraim.
