cosc-le-cur-ar-ola-na-ruise,-dha-mhilliun-duine-tar-eis-teitheadh-as-an-ucrain

Cosc le cur ar ola na Rúise, dhá mhilliún duine tar éis teitheadh as an Úcráin

Tuairiscítear go gcuirfidh Uachtarán Stáit Aontaithe Mheiriceá cosc ar iompórtáil ola na Rúise agus go ndéanfaidh Rialtas na Breataine amhlaidh.

Aontaíodh sos comhraic eile inniu le bealaí éalaithe a thabhairt do dhaoine ar bhonn na daonnúlachta ach mhaígh na hÚcránaigh gur sháraigh an Rúis arís é sin i gcalafort Mariupol.

D’éirigh le daoine éalú as cathracha Sumy agus Irpin atá gar don phríomhchathair Kyiv.

I ráiteas ó na Náisiúin Aontaithe, dúradh go raibh breis is dhá mhilliún duine tar éis teitheadh as an Úcráin ó thús ionradh na Rúise. Páistí ab ea leath díobh.

Dúir Leas-Phríomhaire na Rúise, Alexander Novak, go bhféadfadh an Rúis an gás nádúrtha a cheilt ar an Eoraip in éiric a gcuid smachtbhannaí. Dar leis go mbeadh 300 dollar ar bhairille ola dá ndéanfaidís sin. Faigheann an tAontas Eorpach thart ar 40% dá chuid gáis ón Rúis agus 30% dá chuid ola.

Tá sé fógartha ag Rialtas na hÉireann  go bhfuil suíomh idirlín ar fáil chun deis a thabhairt do dhaoine a chur in iúl go mbeidís sásta cuidiú le teifigh na hÚcráine nó lóistín a chur ar fáil dóibh. Chun clárú ar an suíomh is féidir dul go dtí suíomh Chumann Croise Deirge na hÉireann.

Bhí an tAire Gnóthaí Eachtracha, Simon Coveney, ag freastal ar chruinniú den Chomhairle Caidreamh Coigríche i Nua-Eabhrac inniu, áit a ndúirt sé go bhféadfaí tuilleadh smachtbhannaí  a chur ar an Rúis roimh dheireadh na seachtaine.

Mheas sé go bhféadfaí cosc a chur ar longa na Rúise i gcalafoirt na hEorpa agus  tuilleadh de bhancanna na Rúise a dhíbirt as an gcóras aistrithe airgid SWIFT.
