‘Éagsúlacht mhaith’ ag an bhFéile Náisiúnta Drámaíochta

Bhí an Fhéile Náisiúnta Drámaíochta ar siúl i Seanscoil Sailearna in Indreabhán, Conamara an deireadh an tseachtain seo caite. Bhí sé trí bliana ó bhí an Fhéile Náisiúnta Drámaíochta ar siúl agus lucht féachana beo san amharclann, tráth ar reachtáil An Comhlachas Náisiúnta Drámaíochta an Fhéile i nGaoth Dobhair.

Dúirt Seán Ó Morónaigh, stiúrthóir An Chomhlachas Náisiúnta Drámaíochta, a d’eagraigh an ócáid, gur éirigh “go han-mhaith” leis an bhféile.

“Bhí éagsúlacht mhaith sna drámaí ar stáitse agus bhain an lucht féachana sult agus sásamh astu,” a dúirt sé.

Ba iad Muiris Ó Súilleabháin agus Gráinne de Stafort na moltóirí agus bronnadh gradaim náisiúnta éagsúla ag an ócáid.

Is ar Phroinsias Ó Cuilinn ó Aisteoirí Mhíobhaigh i dTír Chonaill a bronnadh an Gradam Scríbhneoireachta, agus is í Áine Uí Chuill ó Aisteoirí Chúil Aodha a thug léi an Gradam Léiritheoireachta.

Bronnadh Gradam Aisteoireachta ar Chon Ó Cróinín ó Aisteoirí an Lóchrainn, Seosamh Ó Cuilinn agus Síle Ní Fhrighil ó Aisteoirí Mhíobhaigh; Malachaí Mac Amhlaoibh ó Aisteoirí Bhréanainn; agus Pádraig Ó Briain ó Aisteoirí Chúil Aodha.

Cuireadh suim ar leith sa dráma An Mhéir Fhada (léiriú 1992) le Johnny Chóil Mhaidhc, a taispeánadh ar scáileán le linn na féile, le cabhair ó Chlub Scannán Sailearna.

Cuireadh fáilte mhór roimh Sarah Griallais a bhí páirteach sa léiriú cáiliúil sin agus bhí gaolta le haisteoirí eile a bhí sa dráma sin i 1992 i láthair freisin. I ndiaidh an taispeantais bronnadh cóip den dráma ar Bhríd Uí Choistealbha, baintreach an údair, Johnny Chóil Mhaidhc.
