Féile na hEolaíochtaí Sóisialta

Féile na nEolaíochtaí Sóisialta ag Glór na Móna

| Dáithí Anraí |

Tá ceiliúradh ar siúl faoi láthair ar Fhéile na nEolaíochtaí Sóisialta ag Glór na Móna in Iarthar Bhéal Feirste i gcomhpháirtíocht le hOllscoil na Banríona. Leis seo tugtar deis do chéimithe agus scoláirí óga an taighde atá déanta acu a chur i láthair an phobail áitiúil.

Tá réimse ábhair á phlé le linn na féile, cuir i gcás Coláiste Feirste, an Ormeau Íochtarach agus go leor eile. Tugtar aird ar leith ar an stair áitiúil sa taighde a bhí déanta acu, ag léiriú gurb ionann an stair agus an lá atá inniu ann agus go bhfuil sé án-tábhachtach stair an phobail a nochtú.

Thug Meon Eile cuairt ar imeacht de chuid na féile agus labhair muid leis an Dr. Síobhra Aiken agus an Dr. Órla Nig Oirc faoin fhéile í féin agus an maoiniú a fuair siad leis an ócáid a reáchtáil. Labhair muid fosta le hEoghan Ó Garmaile agus Fionnghuala Nic Roibeaird faoin taighde a chuir siad i láthair agus an tábhacht atá ag baint leis an stair seo a bhí faoi cheilt a léiriú.
