Lá Mór Na Gaeilge 2023

Lá Mór na Gaeilge 2023

| Dáithí Anraí |

Bhí ‘Lá Mór na Gaeilge’ ar siúl don dara huair i mbliana ar Chearnóg Parnell Thuaidh i gcathair Bhaile Átha Cliath. Bhí réimse leathan siamsaíochta ar fáil don phobal áitiúil agus do chuairteoirí a bhí ag freastal ar an lá: ceardlanna, bia blasta, cainteanna, margadh gnó trí mheán na Gaeilge, cluichí, fir ghrinn, péinteáil aghaidhe agus ceol.

Bhí an ghrian amuigh ar an Domhnach seo caite agus atmaisféar iontach le mothú timpeall na háite, ó Chearnóg Parnell go Gailearaí Hugh Lane agus Club na Múinteoirí. An phríomhchúis taobh thiar den lá ná an Ghaeilge a cheiliúradh mar theanga phobail i mBaile Átha Cliath Thuaidh agus ba léir do chách go raibh obair na gcapall déanta ag foireann Baile Átha Cliath le Gaeilge agus Conradh na Gaeilge leis an imeacht spreagúil seo a reachtáil.

Is imeacht é Lá Mór na Gaeilge a bhíonn a eagrú ag BÁC le Gaeilge, eagraíocht chomhordaithe de chuid Chonradh na Gaeilge le tacaíocht ón Chomhairle Cathrach Bhaile Átha Cliath agus maoiniú ón Roinn Turasóireachta, Cultúir, Ealaíon, Gaeltachta, Spóirt agus Meán. Is féidir cuairt a thabhairt ar suíomh BÁC le Gaeilge anseo.
