Slí na Sí

‘Slí na Sí’ i bPairc Ormeau

| Dáithí Anraí |

Bhí lá speisialta ann i bPairc Ormeau i ndeisceart Bhéal Feirste ar na mallaibh, é eagraithe ag An Droichead. Siúlóid dhraíochtúil do pháistí a bhí ann darb ainm ‘Slí na Sí’ ina raibh Tuatha Dé Danann ag insint scéaltaí s’acu trí mheán na Gaeilge le céiliúradh a dhéanamh ar thréimhse na Samhna.

Bhailligh na páistí bronntanais ó achan sióg i ndiaidh scéal s’acu a insint chun ofráil a thabhairt do Chailleach Bhéara ag an deireadh. Ansin bhí cóisir mhór na Samhna ann le ceol, bia agus ceardaíocht.

Thug Meon Eile cuairt ar an imeacht agus labhair muid le cuid de na haisteoirí a bhí ann faoin tábhacht a bhaineann le stair agus miotaseolaícht na nGael a theagasc do dhaoine óga sa lá atá inniu ann, go hairithe i nGaeilge.

Labhair muid fosta le Tara Gibney ó An Droichead faoi chlár na Samhna s’acu agus faoinobair a dhéanann siad le daoine áitiúla chun imeachtaí mar seo a chur ar fáil don phobal.
