Maoiniú de dhíth ar an charthanacht Sólás

| Dáithí Anraí |

Is carthanacht riachtanas breise é Sós a thacaíonn le leanaí agus daoine óga a bhfuil réimse leathan riachtanas breise acu, mar shampla uathachas agus ASD.

Agus líon na bpáistí ar fud an Tuaiscirt a bhfuil uathachas agus riachtanais bhreise acu ag meadú gach bliain, thosaigh bord Sós an phleanáil faoi choinne foirgneamh nua saintógtha le freastal ar an ghá atá lena gcuid seirbhísí.

Chuir Sós isteach ar Mhaoiniú Athnuachana Comharsanachta i mBéal Feirste Theas. Is i dtrí chéim a rinneadh an próiseas iarratais: dúradh leo go mbeadh siad in ann £800,000 a fháil ag an dara céim ach ag an triú chéim, le linn an chruinnithe coiste a bhí ar siúl i Halla na Cathrach, Béal Feirste ar an 8ú Eanáir, moladh £24,744 a chur ar fáil don charthanacht.  Faoi dheireadh is é £308,248 an méid a fuair Sós.

Thug Meon Eile cuairt ar Sólás ar Bhóthar Ormeau i ndeisceart Bhéal Feirste agus chonaic muid na seirbhísí iontacha a chuireann an fhoireann ar fáil. Labhair muid leis an Chathaoirleach Fionnghuala McCotter faoin obair atá á déanamh ag Sós agus faoin ghá atá ag na páistí agus ag a dteaghlaigh leis na seirbhísí.

Tá tuilleadh eolais ar Sólás anseo agus is feidir tacú le GoFundMe s’acu anseo
