Spotsolas ar na Nuatheachtaithe: Bláth na hÓige

| NÓS Suíomh Gréasáin | , ,

Beidh Gradaim NÓS 2024 ar siúl i mBéal Feirste an 9 Feabhra. I mbliana bronnfar an gradam do ‘Nuatheachtaí na Bliana’ in ómós do Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí, an laoch craoltóireachta agus pobail a d’imigh uainn anuraidh. Idir seo agus an ócáid bhronnta díreofar aird ar na ceoltóirí atá ainmnithe i rannóg na nuatheachtaithe.

________________________________________________________

Ainm: Bláth na hÓige

Seánra ceoil: Sean-nós agus ceol traidisiúnta

Scéal: Tháinig Bláth na hÓige le chéile do shraith teilifíse (a bhfuil an t-ainm céanna uirthi) ar TG4 in Aibreán 2023. Léirigh an t-ochtar amhránaithe buanna an cheoil thraidisiúnta in éineacht leis an cheoltóir sean-nóis iomráiteach, Síle Denvir, an t-il-ionstraimí Cathal Ó Curráin agus an fidléir mór le rá, Colm Mac Con Iomaire. Is taispeántais dhraíochtúla iad na seónna s’acu ina dtarraingtear an lucht éisteachta isteach. Agus is doiligh an rud é gan géilleadh dá rithim andúile.

Spreagadh: Tógann Bláth na hÓige traidisiúin an tsean-nóis agus déanann siad athmhúnlú orthu do mhuintir an lae inniu. Cuireann siad spion comhaimseartha ar na hamhráin a bhfuil an-aithne againn orthu, ag caomhnú lorg láidir an tsean-nóis agus ag cur le traidisiún ársa an oileáin.

Pleananna do 2024: I ndiaidh dóibh gigeanna a dhéanamh ag Scoil Gheimhridh Ghaoth Dobhair agus Vicar Street, beidh Bláth na hÓige gnóthach i mbliana idir Folk Awards RTÉ agus roinnt mhaith féilte eile.
