Belfast Children’s Festival Irish Language Programme; Grand Soft Day
@ Lyric Theatre Belfast
Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia'Grand Soft Day'
As part of their Education & Engagement project ‘Creative Child’, nursery aged children from selected Irish medium schools in Belfast will be supported to engage in an Irish language visit to a performance of ‘Grand Soft Day’ as part of BCF24. ‘Grand Soft Day’ is an international co-production from the award-winning teams of Branar (Ireland) and New York International Encounter (UK/Norway) with some English, Irish and Italian, playfully celebrating the wonder of the world around us.
Our Creative Child programme supports children from nursery schools across Belfast, including Irish medium schools, to build confidence, creativity, and early life skills. Each child is encouraged to engage with a range of creative artforms through the Irish language and begin forming and expressing ideas in Irish.
Supported by Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia.
