Leagan Béarla
It’s time to get those cúpla focal out. The Pop Up Gaeltacht is returning to the bar in St. Vincents GAA on Friday the 10th of May. Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde agus Suzanne Ní Ghallachóir will get us underway with music, songs and stories from the Donegal Gaeltacht from 8.30pm. There is an open invite to all trad musicians from 9.30pm.
The Pop up is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the language, to hear the language and to speak the language. You will not be sent home for speaking English or sent to Oifig an Chathaoirligh (Chairmans Office) for not knowing what the tuiseal ginideach is. Even if you have no Irish at all I hope you will find a friendly and open environment
Is fearr Gaeilge briste ná Béarla cliste (Broken Irish is better than clever English).
