FéileOur 6th annual Féile na Gaeilge language festival takes place April 18th – 22nd, via Zoom! $30 registration provides access to all 5 events (LetsLearnIrish.com students attend for free).

* Mon 18th: Stair an Cheoil Thraidisiúnta Ghaelach
6pm – 7:20pm ET (11pm – 12:20am Éirinn).
An exploration of the roots of Irish traditional music, starting with the earliest examples of instruments in the archaeological record, as well as those mentioned in vernacular literature. This will lay a foundation to understand the major cultural shifts that occurred in the Baroque period that led to the formation of traditional music and dance styles most commonly associated with Ireland today.
* Tue 19th: Naughty Irish Night
6pm – 7:20pm ET (11pm – 12:20am Éirinn)
Picking up, breaking up and making up, as Gaeilge! This light-hearted session will focus on all those words and phrases not usually covered in Irish classes.
* Wed 20th: An Introduction to Japanese, trí Ghaeilge.
6pm – 7:20pm ET (11pm – 12:20am Éirinn).
In this special introductory class, we’ll teach basic conversational phrases in Japanese, through Irish! This interactive class is suitable for all Irish learners at A1 level or higher.
* Thu 21st: Oíche na Mac Léinn (Student Night)
6pm – 7:20pm ET (11pm – 12:20am Éirinn).
Ar mhaith leat labhairt faoi thopaic spéisiúil? Bí linn! Irish learners are invited to give a 2-3 minute presentation on any topic they choose at this year’s Student Night. Followed by bingo ‘as Gaeilge’!
* Fri 22nd: Tráth na gCeist (Quiz)
6pm – 7:20pm ET (11pm – 12:20am Éirinn).
Tagaigí agus bígí ag caint le chéile! Beidh Tráth na gCeist agus comhrá againn. This will be a fun quiz and an opportunity for all to meet and chat online!
